No need to reset your morning alarm every day just because the sunrise time changes.

With Vakit 2.28.1, the Android app now includes the new Sunrise Alarm feature. You can enable it from Settings and set an automatic alarm to wake you before sunrise.

The alarm adjusts itself according to the daily sunrise time in your city. As sunrise changes, your alarm time changes automatically too, so you do not need to set it again every morning.

You can also choose how many minutes before sunrise the alarm should ring. It can open as an alarm screen even when the phone is locked, with easy snooze and dismiss options.

This feature is currently available only on Android devices. On iOS, the same behavior requires Apple’s special Critical Alerts permission. Since that permission is not generally available to every app, Sunrise Alarm was not added to iOS.
